Myth Malham - not easy, but very interesting race. 230 nautical miles off the southern coast of England, strong currents, difficult weather conditions. This race is also called "Little Fastnet."Starting from the Royal Yacht Squadron, yachts reach the lighthouse Eddistoun southeast of Plymouth, passing around it - and rush back into the Solent to the finish line. The race can take up to two days, so it's a real test of endurance and skill of the crew.

Eddistoun Lighthouse - one of the most famous attractions of the south coast of England. The tower which now dominates the ocean - the fifth reincarnation of this amazing lighthouse, marking the dangerous cliffs fourteen miles from Plymouth. The original, built in 1698 was destroyed in 1703 by the Great Storm. The second tower, built in 1709 from the English oak, was killed by fire in 1755. In 1759, a wealthy Yorkshireman John Smeaton built a new lighthouse - the same shape, but made of stone. It was one of the brightest beacons in the world, 24 kotoyry illuminated lights. However, the rock on which the tower was eventually began to settle, and 120 years later, the construction had to be dismantled. Fourth Eddistoun, erected in 1882, stands not far from the remains of eddistouna third - and is still among the top ten of the brightest beacons in the world.
