Sailing ship «Kajsamoor»

«Kajsamoor» - is a two-masted wooden schooner gaff, which was built in 1939, the year the shipyard Aasheim og Valvatne Skibsbyggeri in Sagvåg Sunnhordland in Norway and is a typical sailing vessel used in the North Sea.

The name is borrowed from the Old Norse mythology and means "mother of wind troll." As trolls on average live about 300 years, our beauty - quite a young lady.

Today a schooner - rare in Estonia working model of a typical sailing ship (length 108 feet - 33 meters, width of 6 meters, a displacement of 148 tons) in Estonia. It offers a variety of entertainment cruises, day trips and charter transportation in the Baltic Sea for groups of 12 to 60 passengers (depending on the chosen route).

Tours include a visit to the beautiful Estonian islands with unspoiled nature, the Aland Islands (Finland), Gotland (Sweden) and all kinds of popular seaside festivals, such as the "Kieler Woche", "Hanse Sail" in Rostock, Maritime Days in Åland, Sea days Tallinn and other events.

Facilities: well-equipped galley, two toilets with shower, hot / cold water, central heating, 220V / 24V.

The vessel is equipped with modern protective and rescue equipment in accordance with the requirements of the maritime authorities and has been certified to service the Baltic Sea passengers.

Restoration work on the schooner carried out using traditional techniques and materials work, which helped to keep its original appearance and romance of sail.
