SEAFDEC (Southeast Asian Development Center) is an intergovernmental body established to promote fisheries development through training, research and information services in Southeast Asia. It currently has 11 member countries; Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. We went there in Guimaras and we were given a tour of their facilities as well as the fishes they have.

Their services include areas of fishing gear technology, development and breeding of fishes that include cross breeding different fishes of the same species to create a new breed.
