Sad News coming from Jonas Folger he will not be racing in the upcoming 2018 MotoGP. The Yamaha Tech3 rider said it has not recovered correctly from illness suffered.
jonas Folger last season should be absent in the last four series due to illness. He was diagnosed with Gilbert's syndrome, a genetic disease that made him lie down for treatment.
Folger was expected to recover fully at Christmas and will be able to undergo preseason tests in Sepang at the end of January. But the news circulated exactly a statement farewell from the rider 24 year old.
"I am very sad to have to say this, but I will not go down the race in 2018 MotoGP," said Folger
"I was not able to make the development that I expect and at this stage, I do not feel able to ride a MotoGP engine in 100 percent condition."

Folger appear quite impressive in its inaugural season in MotoGP in 2017 ago. The Germany rider almost won his home series at Sachsenring, but eventually had to settle for second place. He only twice failed to finish and once did not participate in the start of last season.
