Twitter is the most popular microblogging platform. It is easy to reach a lot of people with just a single tweet. Just a few weeks back, John Mcafee used twitter to promote his agenda. After twitting about any coin, Coin goes up for an hour and fall after that. Now, His pumping is not working at all. He is twitter superstar. But I think he is using twitter sometimes for wrong causes.
But the problem with the scammers. Scammer create thousands of fake twitter account to scam people. currently, most popular way to scam people is to use fake accounts of startup founder, Crypto Specialist. One of the main victim is Vitalik Buterin. A lots of fake accounts is created by his name. The daunting fact is that these accounts are using to scam people. They are behaving like they are the original Vitalik
The sad part is that Scammers are successful in some cases. Innocent and Greedy Crypto enthusiasts sent money to these scam accounts for getting highest return.
The simple rule is that those founders does not have time to ask poeple to send money. Moreover, They do not need such a low amount of crypto survive. They have a lot.

This is indeed too frastruating and annoying about such greedy scammers.
This then calls for the use of wisedom and making a critical check on suspecious links or accounts seeking to acquire some of your valuables.

Scams will only grow as long as cryptos get wider public acceptance unfortunately.
But I saw some of the twitter scams. And they are like "send 0.1 ETH and get 1 ETH back". I mean, seriously whoever falls for that probably deserves to be scammed.

I was once almost got scammed. I was drunk back then. Luckily I wasn't able to press confirm. I only learned about my mistake when I saw it in the morning and I searched who I was sending my coins to.
I hope twitter implement counter-measures against this scammers. Maybe they can develop a command where posts by people who are using profile pic of verified crypto personnel will be filtered or something like that. I am not an IT person, thus, I don't know if this is a simple or complicated solution. This is just an example, I know there are a lot of much effective methods to counter this scams.
