It took me almost three days to finally settle on 𝒋𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒆 as my new handle.

Given that my primary content revolves around concert fancams and fan events, jastencore is a meaningful combination of two key elements. The first is my name, Justine, and the second is "encore"—the term used for an additional performance after a concert or event has ended. This reflects my love for the live performance experience and my desire to continually create content that feels like an encore.

In addition to its literal meaning, jastencore also carries a deeper, personal significance. "Just Encore" represents my commitment to always bring something extra, whether it's through content or creative expression. Meanwhile, "Justine Core" symbolizes the core of who I am, offering a space where I can share my personal insights, experiences, and the many facets of my personality that I’m eager to explore and share with you.

I had also considered using "j4z10," a stylized version of my name in jejemon, which I’ve used among friends for some time. However, I realized it wouldn’t work as well here—both because it doesn’t align with the vibe I’m going for and because it’s difficult to search for online.

Ultimately, I chose to slightly modify the spelling of jastencore because the username "justencore" was already taken across various platforms. I wanted to ensure consistency and convenience, so that I could use the same handle across all of my social media accounts, making it easier for people to find and connect with me.

Guess what? I survived the deadliest undergraduate course on the planet!

Studying Accountancy truly shattered every ounce of confidence I had and made me realize that I was running on about only three brain cells. And let’s not forget, we had to endure all of this during the pandemic, relying solely on online classes and modules to keep us going.

Despite all the challenges, I still managed to graduate—though a bit later than my batchmates, since I had to retake a subject.

I’m not yet a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), but with perseverance and God’s grace, I know I'll get there!

I feel incredibly blessed to have been hired for a permanent government plantilla position right after graduating.

While I haven’t yet passed the board exam, I took the Civil Service Exam in my final year of college and passed, which opened the door to this amazing opportunity.

From a young age, I've always dreamed of becoming a pop star—or even a K-pop idol! Singing and dancing have always been my ultimate passions, and I must say, they're the only constants in my life.

Growing up in a typical Asian household, I began playing the piano at nine, with the goal of contributing to the church choir. My love for music didn’t stop there—I also attended violin workshops and recitals in university, checking off more items from my musical bucket list. Recently, I added an electronic drum set to my collection, because why not keep expanding my skills?

I'm also passionate about dancing. Whether it's online or in person, I love attending dance classes. During the pandemic, I found great joy and support through platforms like Nround and Edkpop. Feel free to check out my online dance progress on TikTok here .

When it comes to singing, I’ve posted a few covers on my YouTube channel. While it’s not currently active, I’m hoping to find the time to start recording again soon. You can catch my past covers here.

Furthermore, fitness became a big part of my life during the pandemic, especially home workouts. I fell in love with jump roping and weight training, and my go-to are MadFit, Jumprope Dudes, and Pamela Reif!

Now for the Exciting Part!

Welcome to the world where my heart truly belongs—K-pop and K-drama! I've been a devoted fan since I was in sixth grade, and these fandoms have shaped so much of who I am today.

It all started with Super Junior’s “Sorry Sorry”—that iconic track was my gateway into K-pop, and I’ve never looked back. Soon after, I became a huge fan of SHINee, and they were the first group I stanned. Since then, my love for K-pop has only grown stronger, but it wasn’t until I moved to the city for Senior High School that I really got involved in the CDO K-pop scene. That was when I truly embraced the vibrant community of fans around me, and it felt like I had found my home.

Being part of a multi-fandom is an experience like no other. I absolutely love attending Cupsleeve Events, Kpop Conventions, Mall Shows, and, now, concerts! The energy of being surrounded by people who share your passion is something you can’t get anywhere else. There's nothing like the thrill of singing along with thousands of other fans or screaming your heart out when your favorite group hits the stage. Every event feels like an unforgettable celebration of music and friendship.

In 2022, I found myself diving into the world of BLs (Boys’ Love series), and let me tell you—it’s been a wild, colorful ride. The chemistry between the leads is often so electric, and sometimes I feel like I’m living for the heart-stopping, swoon-worthy moments between them. Honestly, I think the dynamics in BLs are often more intense and heartfelt than in many straight romance shows. As a fujoshi, embracing this side of my fandom has been thrilling, and I can’t wait to attend fan meetings in the future to meet others who share this passion!

Right now, though, I’m completely obsessed with one couple that has captured my heart: MewTul—the real-life couple and fiancés that have become the center of my world. They are absolutely adorable, and I can’t stop thinking about them. Seriously, they’re my ultimate OTP (One True Pairing)! If anything ever happens to them, my world might just collapse, and I’ll be a puddle of emotions. 😭💔

When it comes to artists, my ults now is Day6 and Fujii Kaze. These boys are literally my life saviors in which I hope I can share my survival story as I continue to explore and thrive in this platform.

These fandoms and the people I’ve met along the way have brought so much joy, color, and meaning to my life. It’s a never-ending adventure, and I’m always excited to see what’s next on the horizon!

On the other hand, traveling is also a passion of mine, and I’ve been lucky enough to explore some of the most beautiful spots across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao—each place leaving its own unforgettable mark.

Next stop? International adventures! Sawadeeka 2025 here I come!

Aside from traveling, I’m also a huge fan of cafe hopping. Back in my university days, I practically visited every cafe around just to study. Now, I’m thankful I can enjoy them without the pressure of textbooks—just savoring the cozy atmosphere and indulging in their delicious food and drinks. It’s one of my favorite ways to unwind and explore new spots!
