It's really a tough place to be, giving our power to people or things that end up controlling us against our conscious will. What I tend to struggle with sometimes, is in the process of recovering back that power, it's like fighting back and forth between two opposing principles. That's why nowadays, I'm super conscious of where to draw the line before things get out of hand again.
