............stick to your travelling plans. We will see you in September/October as planned and no masks!
This is a real email sent by good friends to American friends living in Seattle who are planning to travel to Australia this year. She and her husband are in their 70's. They have always wanted to visit and had planned it for a while. But as life goes, there is a very big hiccup with the fast spreading coronovirus across the world wide.
She and her husband have been considering the pros and cons off sticking to their plans. The statistics related to the the numbers of people who have died and who become infected are very scary for anybody let alone soon to be travellers. Because the virus has been become a pandemic travelling insurance will not cover them if they get sick or if they cancel their flights.
What do they do? Stay at home or keep to their travel plans?
After much deliberation both have decided to still fly to Australia and trust that they will stay healthy and virus free. They will not let fear over take them.
What would do if you were this couple? And I am sure that Leanne and Derrick are not the only people who facing this are difficult decision.
I completely understand their hesitancy to keep to their travelling plans.
Would you still keep to your travel plans? It is a hard one or perhaps not. It depends on whether you believe leaving this world is set or not. Is it fate when you go?
Cheers and Blessings

There's a difference between being afraid and taking precautions. Fear can prevent us from taking the right actions, while precaution will help us while taking the right action. If they can take the right precautions, i believe they will be alright. Beside, not everyone will be infected by this corona virus of a thing. So one has to be free, take the right precautions and live life
So very true @resuscitate. One cannot live with fear because you will not do anything.
Howdy angiemitchell! I don't know what I'd do, it depends on what the virus is doing in Australia. Do you guys have alot of cases down there?
No we don't janton, only 52 cases identified at this stage. I believe that as long as you are well and healthy and get treatment early all is okay. Not sure if that is pie in the sky kind of thinking though.
It is like any virus, so easy to catch!
Well I hope it doesn't catch on any bigger than that there. This is really going to make people conscious of building their immune system up!
I know! And it takes time to build up your immune system doesn't't it?
