This is My Ikigai
Haven't you all wondered why you're here? Why you're living and why you're still existing? Ever wondered why out of all the sperms that could be born, you were chosen? Some of them say, "we we're born because a reason" while others say, "i don't know, i think it's just a mistake". We all have different reasons, but for me, the reason that I still exist is because I have a purpose.
Looking up at the stars, I knew too well that I'm not happy with my life. The pater we have has another family he's taking care of, while we, his original children, is still longing for his love. My mother? Well she's the reason why they broke up, she's at another place right now. I really liked dancing and singing when i was a child but my parents discouraged me by saying that I'm too skinny for it so I stopped. I aced all my subjects and earned the top place to make them all proud but it isn't enough. I joined many contests and won but still, it wasn't enough. I even lift heavy things and objects just to get their attention, I even forget to eat sometimes just for them to care, but they don't and they won't. I even became jealous to my younger sibling because she's always the right one. With what they said and did, our connections fell apart, but what can I do? they don't care, so I decided also not to care. I don't care if I fail my subjects, I don't care if hurt anyone, life isn't worth it anyways. My life is a trash. Life started to fall apart and crumble for me, so I decided to write. Write all the pain that I feel, the solitude, the agony, the suffering because when I am writing I feel calm, I feel that the burden that I am carrying is gone. One day I was just scrolling on my fb account when I read a post, a prose rather, that has a very good content. I started following that writer and read every works of his until I decided to make a writing account and post my stories there. It wasn't easy at first because most of the readers are picky and they have their own basis of "good content". Thankfully I followed that one writer who goes by the name "Hed Morretti" who now go by the name @Cronus, he really helped me improve my writing skills along with his bestfriend Agatha who also now goes by the name "Honey". Thanks to them I don't feel lonely and I feel loved. With writing as my passion, I think I made my readers happy, sad, and cry. They also introduced me more to kpop because the only group or band that I know is BTS and Blackpink, Agatha introduced me to Twice and Itzy while Cronus introduced me to EXO and NCT. I also started to create a wattpad account but also deleted it after I find it really hard to write there. When i don't write, I draw and paint sceneries like the clouds, sunset, trees and more. Now that I'm 17, I rarely write stories and prose because I'm too busy with schoolworks and stuff, but I started dancing and singing again. I still communicate with my friends even though our conversations are always short because we're all busy.
Life's too short to be stressed, go and enjoy what you've been missing! In finding your ikigai, you must be happy on what your doing.
What i realized was, you don't have to be loved by everyone for you to be happy. You just need you, yourself. You just need to find your purpose, your ikigai. Your happiness of always being busy.
