Today has been a quiet but busy day. From spending half my day in front of my laptop to prepare and do a trainability exam online, doing chores in the afternoon and going back into reading. It all pretty much went in a blur.
I know it was going to be a quiet day so might as well start in the kitchen to cook for lunch. I know I would not have the time to do it later.
I cooked Pancit, an all time favorite in our family. It is the only time we don't eat rice with our meal. So a little bit of change is good.
After the long hours of sitting its time for me to have a little break. I think having a time outside to get moving sure does have some positive impact in our health. A simple walk makes me think more clearly and reassess what I did and need to do. Sometimes, the best things we can do for ourselves are the simplest. Walking may seem small, but it has a quiet power. It clears the mind, strengthens the body, and gives space for thoughts to breathe.
When we walk, we’re not just moving forward physically — we’re also creating mental space. A short walk can help us process our day, ease stress, or spark new ideas. And it doesn't need a fancy gear or a membership. All we need is the willingness to move and go outside. So for me, this day is considered as a win.
