Insightful post, this is excellent advice. However, there is a glaring omission that drastically reduces its positive effect — No mention of wisdom or morality.
”Get yourself surrounded by those who have the things you desire like success, happiness, wealth, fitness, relationship or the life you've been dreaming of, soon their standards will become yours too.”
None of this matters is you don’t have wisdom and morality. These are the first things in the expression ”put first things first”. You’ve got to get yourself around people with principles, not just people who are happy and successful in their chosen endeavor.
Hopefully you find people who have it all, but wisdom and morality are the first standards which must be met for any person to be deemed a quality person, and thus worthy of your time; everything else comes after that.
I’m sure you know this, but you have to say it. You have to remind people of this always, and include it in any conversation about personal uplift, because it gets pushed to the side far too often, and it’s critically important on both a personal and worldwide level.
Hi there Bryan. Thanks for reminding me and thanks for dropping by again. This post supposes to give encouragement for people to move out from their comfort zones, this has been the problem that I just recently recognized. I have to admit that I didn't give a caution that this could be a double edge sword because we may also unconsciously adapt the wrongdoings of the people we follow and we adore. This actually give me an idea about my next post. Thank you once again.
Great! Looking forward to it!
