Eat That Frog

I spend most of my travelling time on Quora and youTube, and my favourite genre is, self-help or self-improvement. But sadly, I tend to forget things, the books I read, the videos I watch or the articles I read. However, luckily, one best thing stuck somewhere in my mind.Maybe because of its catchy phrase.

Eat That Frog!

Eat a live frog every morning, and nothing worse will happen you the rest of the day. -Mark Twain

That mean, do the least-favourite and most irritate task first.

For an instance, I had made a promise to myself that I will write an essay daily ( As I am preparing for IELTS), but I used to procrastinate like I will do it later, after dinner maybe, right before I go to bed, blah blah. But that didn’t work. I mostly skipped writing the essay or sometimes just wrote it for the sake of it.

Then one day I decided to apply this rule of eating the frog. What I did: I started writing the essay as soon as I reached home after office and then make tea for myself.

And, voila, it worked like a charm for me. I could write good essays with ease, I started growing every day.

And then I started applying this rule everywhere, even in my office. Now I pick the most challenging task first and then the easiest one. It has increased my productivity since then. I am loving this new change in my routine.

I would suggest you all give it a try. You will definitely see the difference in your lifestyle. A positive one.
