Nah, this is a cool one. It might not give you any information you didn't have before, but I just like the thought, or the definition of reflection. SO, what is self-reflection?
It is engaging in a meaningful conversation with yourself. Yes, that is reflecting. You start to discuss with yourself and look at your relationship to a topic from all perspective, with yourself. Of course, it might be useful after thinking and reflecting on your own also to include some other people who you trust and love to hear their thoughts, but self-reflection is about conversing with yourself.

For example... why do I feel bad about myself?
You want to reflect on why you feel bad. You start to think about how you actually feel, then you might start to think about what makes you feel that way. Which things make those feelings stronger, what makes them weaker? Is there anything you can do to change this? Would sleeping more help, or maybe eating healthier? Are you investing in other people, or are you all about people investing in you? Are you bitter because people don't seem to like you or they don't seem interested in you? Do you expect more from others than you expect from yourself?
There are so many questions you can ask yourself as you self-reflect and try to understand yourself better. It is one interesting ride, so I hope you have time for some coffee and self-reflection today!
