That frieze is wonderful @dswigle! The detail incredible, imagine the energy it took to achieve those tiny details. Quite a vision! As fot the bridge, I can't imagine being backed up in traffic for hours, yikes although at sunset the view would be tremendous. As always, beautiful flowers my friend! Happy Sunday!
That bridge isn't too bad as the Eastern Shore is where my other house is and is nothing but beach and country living! It is connected by Annapolis and the Eastern Shore. I can say that they run a reverse line every day, giving the traffic side of the bridge the extra lane to keep it moving. That helps a lot.
The only time it was bad was when a truck went off the bridge one morning and I sat four cars back from where he was for 7 hours (in the middle of the bridge)while they retrieved the truck. Whenever there is a fatality or a suspected one, they close the bridge and there you sit.
