A las puertas de un convento se acerco un peregrino a solicitar comida y cobijo para continuar su camino.
El mas aciano de los religiosos, que apenas podia caminar, se ofresio para sevir al peregrino, a lo que se pusieron los otros frailes, porque eso significaba una tarea superior de la comunidad intervino y les dijo: Ustedes no pueden quitarle a nuestro hermano mayor placer de servir, si el asi lo ha decidido.
La alegria interior en el dar sin esperar recompensa, es semejante al contento del arco iris al ofresernos su luz y sus colores despues de la tormenta.
