New to twitter...and the #seven77 challenge helped me to jump right onto interacting among familiar and newfound friends...without so much of the overthinking and fear of doing 'something wrong'. Obviously...there is always room for improvement and learning and evolving but I like the simplicity of the challenge so far...and kinda need to hold onto that to stay motivated right up to day 77. Seeing talk of twitter algorithms and profiles that aren't complete enough and not showing up in the feed and not passing checks because most of my tweets don't have links...makes me really anxious. Along with coming up with one unique reason why I love steem each day. I probably have a thousand...but the twitter character count makes expressing any of them right on there impossible for me. I would rather focus on using that space for the tags that reach into other communities! Especially the chronic pain awareness ones. Worrying about censorship and being at the mercy of a corporate entity that lacks a decentralized soul is hard enough...but I came back there because I decided to look for the good instead of dwelling on the bad...to more widely network and share my journey and to make more of an impact back on steemit because of this. Contributing to the movement is all good vibes...and has already improved my life in a few key ways! Potentially letting too much murk in...reminds me of why I distanced myself from mainstream social media in the first place. It verges on complicated for all the wrong reasons! People like straightforward things...does not have to be easy just concise. We probably won't get to 777 true believers quite so fast unless this venture remains simple enough to fit into our day to day lives...and attention spans too...lol. And although we can't change how twitter treats our usage of the platform...but we can choose to react differently and rise above it. I am working on that with the previously mentioned social media anxiety. My simple clips might not get a ton of views and with the way twitter is set up...they might not even deem them as quality but they make me happy! And it makes me happy to see other creative clips too. The way I see it...they also help in small droplets to get the tags to reach the trending waterfall. And isn't this the whole point? To show our shared energy...commitment and to make people curious to know more? There does need to be a better way to direct people to what this thing is all about but apart from that...I want to continue doing this as I have been so far. For the most part anyway...little tweaks are welcome. Maybe...the whitepaper or a website landing page with all of the necessary links and information can be turned into a mandatory shortlink as one of the steps that we all use....so we can still upload raw videos right to twitter and maybe sneak around the bot? Not an expert at understanding how it all works by far...but this seems like an issue that needs to be solved. We can still ride the wave back to our people powered blockchain.
