Alright, day 2 of the 7 day beer challenge. Stop Collaborate & Listen is a mixed culture saison from the combined efforts of 2 of my favourite BC breweries, Yellow Dog Brewing Co. (Port Moody) & Powell Brewery (Vancouver).
From the can:
All right stop, collaborate and listen.
Yellow Dog and Powell are back with a brand new invention.
A mixed Culture Saison with additions of ginger and coriander.
A remix of style.
A true collaboration.
Word.
This delicious brew had a tangy tart flavour from the mixed culture and just enough adjuncts to give it a little something extra to liven up the palate. Not too overpowering, the flavours all mixed well together to give a crisp refreshing and flavourful experience. There was no disappointment with this one.
Here are the rules:
-You have to try a new beer every day, for 7 days
-The beer must be something you have never tasted before
-You must put a photo of the beer and write a few words about it
-Nominate someone every day
-If you are a social outcast with no friends to invite like myself, you just join the fun. You have every excuse to drink
-Use the tag "#sevendaybeerchallenge" as one of your five tags.
If you are a beer fan, and I assume you are if you're reading this, also check out my posts a couple back. I'm attempting a contest and would like as many people to join in as possible. Why not make a bit of money for drinking and sharing your beer?!
Cheers,
Brews Buffer

Nice write up, I’m not a big saison fan but sounds good
Thanks! Personally I'm a big fan, they're so versatile and can be so different from one to the next. To each their own though!
You have a talent for beer photography. Not to mention, your review has left me craving a saison. Cheers!
Haha, appreciate it, but not sure I'd go as far as to say talent... There's been quite a bit of practice though! Grab one for your day 7! Thanks, Cheers!
I did just figure out how to pull off that background and will likely do a tutorial on it in the near future if it interests you.
That would be a cool tutorial.
Could happen today. It does require some equipment that may not be owned by everyone, but it's super easy with the right lens.
I’m honestly interested. I see so many people taking similar shots on Instagram.
It's up. That's where I would always see it as well, and had no idea how to recreate it.
