Permaculture berm?

We got a load of black dirt and shaped it with our skidsteer. I recently ordered some berry perrenials, along with kiwis and figs. Hoping they do better in the shaped dirt than in pots. I've been watering them a little, hopefully not too much or too little for the dormant season.

I have figs going and doing really well, even in our dry or dormant season. Haven't tried the berries yet. This year.
