Oh man... that sweeping vista is simply breathtaking! My eyes are welling up just by looking at a black and white representation, so I imagine I would be a teary eyed mess if I saw this in person. Where was this shot?

This was at Lassen National Park in California. It is amazingly beautiful there; i'm gonna make a post showing more pictures in the next few days. My sister and I hiked up the side of an active volcano there to a sulfur spring.
