about this photo:

I took this photo when i was in the High Speed train in China. The one im sitting is the average speed which is about 300km/h and the latest train could go up to 400km/h. The train is very stable and comfortable, there are "train stewardess“ that sells food and drinks on the train. Such transportation is convenient for business travelers who need to go to Shanghai or anywhere from Beijing. Beijing to shanghai(1214km or 754 miles) now takes about 5-6 hours to reach

that's really fast! is it expensive? over here in Malaysia they're trying to build 1 as well and I think China is one of the bidder to help build it :)

assuming from KL to malacca would only take you around 40 mins, about 55CNY(9 USD) per trip for normal seats. About 36MYR one way
Oh yes =) I'm aware of the chinese company building there(news from granny),apparently it is a chinese state own company that are the main investors for the train.

wow! you're very dry informed. I barely know what's happening in China :/ hopefully our government puts our taxpayers money into good use.

There are actually a lot of Chinese companies investing in South East Asia at the moment, another place is near the capital. China is building a private port at Malaysia and it's going to put Singapore in a difficult position. I believe the only thing sustaining them is their currency

yes I heard. there's also the South China Sea issue. China is a really powerful country in this time and age!
