Great work @countrygirl.

I have a stock of photos according to the categories. I will try it later and just for fun @countrygirl :)

For sure....do it. Have fun!!

Of course 😁😁

This wall speaks volumes. Stories of the past, present and future. The future will surely be demolition by shortsighted city fathers trying to modernise a town that would rather not...(sorry, it is the writer in me)

hehehe..that's okay...you are allowed an imagination. I hope they don't demolish historic buildings. But you never know what future "fathers" will do.

Nice post @countrygirl :)

I just realized I sent you a bot to upvote your post on accident :) I copied your link instead of mine and sent you @hottopic. Enjoy!

You have a bot? That makes me dizzy......lol. You are hottopic too? Thanks for the resteem :)

That looks like a pretty old one; worn and missing some grout.

Yes it is missing grout and brick bits. I'm sure there are little animals hidden behind them.

something romantic about old houses with painted bricks weathering...

Thank you for participating!

I'm glad I am. :) Also, on my next one I'll add more information as you requested.

That would be great, thank you!

We are sometimes guilty of that.

So true. I came across a story years ago about putting up walls to keep people out....I can't find it anywhere - it was powerful. I'll have to keep looking.

So true! Hopefully these ones are green, and green is hope and reborn!

Hope floats!! haha....you're right, I never thought of that. Good one!

The wall looks very sad and unkept.

It's the wall of an old building in downtown Dundas ... I loved the color and even the painted paint. I like rustic old things. There are many buildings there that are from the Victorian period. The ones with the rotting or deteriorating bricks are usually painted with artwork. One way to give new life to an old building :)

I wonder what kind of story there is to this brick wall!

I wonder too. I did a little research on some of the town's buildings, but not this one. The architecture there is so pristine and it's used in many movies and tv shows.

If only the walls can talk, right! :)

Reminds me of Frost's Mending Wall.

Well look at you being all literary. I've never read that poem until just now. I have added it to my journal because it is very profound yet simple.
