It's rather perverse that so many people have been cancelled over a bad joke or the crime of a Instagram post condemning arson with break neck speed while actual sex abusers like Terry Richardson actually managed to keep working for a few years post Me Too.
As I've gotten more involved in photography as a profession I've become shockingly, depressingly aware of how many perverts there are who probably just bought a camera so they can be around scantily clad women.
It should just be general knowledge to people in both sides of the camera that there is no reason why the photographer needs to touch the model. Zero. If you can't verbally communicate your direction to the model, you're a shitty photographer and you need to learn that skill. There's no reason to pressure models into doing anything. Models will tell your what they're okay with. If they're okay with nudity, they usually advertise that they're okay with it. There's no reason to pry or to nudge the model in that direction.
Also, and this needs to be made abundantly clear, I immediately become suspicious of any photographer who doesn't let a model bring an escort along. Maybe that's just because my background and primary job is in cinema and you're never alone with the talent when you're on set; but, every reason that I've seen photographers give about why they don't like escorts has come off as bullshit.
It's best for everybody if you manage to avoid being an ass. You're there to work not to get laid.
