Gameweek 20 was brilliant for me having captained Harry Kane for his hat trick against Southampton. A move that played a huge part in getting me my first 100+ points of the season.
The quest to climb up the rankings come gameweek 21 has got me thinking about who could be this week's best captain pick. With Liverpool playing Leicester City at home, Salah, Coutinho and Firmino are options but with all 3 haven started the last 3 games for Liverpool and Klopp's ability to rotate puts me off both Salah and Firmino, my 2 Liverpool cover.
Manchester City are up against a Crystal Palace side that will most probably seat deep and try not to lose by an embarrassing scoreline, just like Newcastle did in their previous. Sterling has been a revelation this season and served me well in gameweek 19 as my captain helping me to gameweek score of 100 points. With fixtures coming in thick and fast and with Pep being another manager who loves rotation, I feel Sterling will be the one to take up the bench warming duties giving Sane a chance to start. Aguero, Kevin Debryne are other options at City.
The fixture that stands out for attacking returns is Chelsea's home game vs a Stoke City team stricken by defensive injuries and Kurt Zouma ineligible to play against his parent club. Hazard and Morata should have a good day at the office. Morata had a great game when the two sides first met this season. While Hazard has been playing superbly recently despite not producing returns in fpl terms I'll say he's due for a double figure haul so if you own him or Morata..
These are your best bet for a huge captain return for this gameweek with Kane having a blank gameweek.
For me I'm going with a Hazard captain.
