This week's contest will pay out 5 Steem in prizes.
The contest this week is graciously being hosted by @nolasco and she wants to see if you can photograph a shadow of smoke!

To get your photo to show up in the comments, you have to post the link to your post AND the link to your photo. It makes it easier to remember what you posted if we don't have to keep clicking the link and it gets more attention for your photo.
If you have an idea for a topic and would like to be a guest judge, please let me know!
Here Are The Rules For The Contest.
The Prize will be at least 5 Steem, divided between no more, and possibly less than 10 winners, who will be chosen by me, or a judge selected by me.
One submission per person
If you enter a photo please up vote this post so that the contest can continue. All resteems are appreciated!
You can create a post using the tag shadowphoto but the photo or link MUST be posted in the comments here as well.
Feel free to use editing and effects to create a special look if you want. Phone photos are great!
The photo must be your original work. Please don't use photos that you find on the internet!
Submissions will no longer be accepted after the post has payed out in 7 days.
A Hint. Since this is a week long contest, if you publish a post with your entry, you may want to enter on the last few days of the contest. That way your post is still live and can be upvoted when the winners are announced.

This is a really demanding theme. Catching a smoke could be issue and now you ask to take a photo of shadow of smoke. :D That is a challenge! Well chosen @nolasco and @melinda010100. I will try my best.

I really never thought about the contest going this long when I started it. I'm so glad that it has been successful, because it is so much fun! It will be even more fun when the price of steem goes up and I can give out bigger prizes again!

Yes! He left on Wednesday afternoon. 8 days is far too long to have a house guest, especially one that is not always your favorite person to be around!

That was just silly that I ever put myself in that position. I was expecting two or possibly three day visit, and I really felt taken advantage of. I should have set better boundaries. Getting back to my routine does feel like something worth celebrating!
Now you know what to do next time.
@nolasco I had never attempted a smoke shadow photo and out of curiosity I made an attempt this afternoon to take one. I lit a candle, used the flashlight on my cell phone to cast The Shadow onto the wall since we haven't seen the sun in days, and when I blew the candle out I had to work quickly but this is what I came up with. (Not for judging!)
Super interesting challenge! Smoke shadows... I don't know but I'm going to try to think of something! Resteemed :)
I did one just to see if I could! Can't wait to see what you come up with.
I'm starting to get an idea of how it might be done. It's going to have to be carefully staged - and I'm going to need an entire Hollywood film studio to pull it off! :)
