Let's see your Animal Shadows!
Round 6 category: Animal Shadows
This week, let's see animal shadows. Any kind of critter! Pets, wildlife, farm animals, birds, and insects. You get the idea!
Remember, they must be shadows, not silhouettes.
And no hand shadows.
Here Are The Rules For The Contest.
The Prizes will be at least 10 SBD, divided between the winners, who will be chosen by me, or a judge selected by me.
One submission per person
If you enter a photo please also up vote this post so that the contest can continue. All resteems are appreciated!
You can create a post using the tag shadowphoto but the photo must be posted in the comments here as well.
Feel free to use editing and effects to create a special look if you want. Phone photos are great!
The photo must be your original work. Please don't use photos that you find on the internet!
Submissions will no longer be accepted after the post has payed out in 7 days.

I clicked this picture of the cute kitten one afternoon when I was strolling a street in Kotor of Montenegro. Used to be a Mediterranean port, Kotor is also known for its large amount of cats all over the streets. There's even a Cats Museum dedicated for these little creatures. Thank you for another great contest!! My animal shadow entry is of this Arctic wolf, taken in the October of 2017 on my trip to Banff National park. As to the comment of possibly unable to support the contest, perhaps just having it as a game with no prize, just credit and fun? Either way prize or no prize at stake, I would gladly continue participating.

Hi Melinda, thank you so much for picking my shot as one of the winning photos in the previous round! :)) I was really excited when I learnt the new theme is animal shadows as I love taking photos of the wildlife but after a thourough look into my archives, I found out few of my wildlife shots actually have shadows in them :D :( So this is the most "shadowy" image I found... a little crabby on a beach in Mexico :) Hopefully it counts...

Claude is quite handsome! How does one care for a crayfish?
They are very easy to care for :) Just put them in a big fish tank and feed them anything from raw vegetable to common fish food once a day ;)
I just have a tiny little 8 gallon tank with two fish in it. I think they like living alone!
I believe they do haha :)) These crayfish get pretty big, up to 9 in :)

Your support is seriously appreciated. Each week I wonder if I am going to be able to continue to afford to hold another contest! But....I was really hoping to see an Abbey shadow this week!😃
Yesterday was a perfect shadow day and on purpose I went out to catch those long shadows that the sun casts just before sunset. But....things didn't go as planned!!! I do have a shadow of Abbey and I but it's not that great. So, support is one thing I can do :)

You know, as I go around looking at posts, I see so many shadow photos....it's funny. I didn't notice them before.

Do the finger bunny thing against a wall. She didn't say it had to be a real animal. I would put my hand bird shadow up, but my wife took the picture not me, I only have two hands, and both were kind of busy making the flying bird. Or you could take one of your stuffed animals, (I know you have at least one), and pose it and take a picture of its shadow on the wall. See easy peesy.
