I believe that even if we see a formal standard being made- we will still see people posting videos where they just explain their idea and this could be upvoted by a whale and their portion of the inflation will go to that person.
We will also have people posting very structured posts like @utopian-io but we will have a lot less formal projects- some as simple as for example @elgeko could ask for advertising funds to pay to promote some of the ads he already has made for steem either as banner add- memes on reddit or videos on YouTube.
Or for example a user like @aggroed might propose to set steem funding loose to promote his steem-engine.com for the benefit of all steem users- maybe with the creation of a steem engine mobile app with built ins easy to use dex with built in onboarding maybe using @steem.ninja https://invite.steem.ninja
Oh speaking of onboarding I believe if just 1% of the inflation went towards account creation we could handle a LOT of the current demand load! Paying to create new instant free accounts for users with active social media accounts could be a perfect use for steem PROPOSAL Dao.
