The allied forces fought hard against the germans in this aeria and managed to hold them back for some time. The battle was fought on sea and on land in the mountains and woods around here. This ship is called Georg Tile and was bombed and leaking. The germans on board barely managed to get the boat on land and escape before it sank completely.
The shipwreck still lies where they left it, with the bow barely on land and the rest of the ship under water. Many divers have been exploring this ship as most of it is under water. It is a very big boat. Here we see that it is almost up side down. It must have been a scary situation for the crew on board.

I love everything related to old objects and things. It brings so many feelings about the past. I am an impassioned about old objects. In one of my posts I presented one of my most precious old objects.
