Just the poop, the whole poop and nothing but the poop.
It is difficult to imagine just how much poop comes out of a cow unless you have experienced the phenomenon yourself. It isn't just the size of the individual droppings, it is the sheer quantity, an overwhelming poop offensive that takes the beach and surges against the bulwarks and spills into the trenches.
It takes a lot of grass and hay to derive enough nutrients to fuel such a large body, and most of the bulk eaten is passed back out as manure. Manure is kind of a nice word for poop I think, it has a sophisticated ring to it - darling can you get out the nice manure, we are expecting company today.
The older piles of manure dry and spread out and crumble into the soil, pocked with the holes made by insects entering and exiting. Flip over an older pile and you will find the ground underneath is moist and damp, even when the surrounding ground is bone dry. Perfect grub habitat. Many cattle fly species lay their eggs in manure, along with dung beetles and many other insects.
Really shitty art
How you like dem apples?
