Great stuff! Reading is definitely one of my super powers, and maybe my favorite! In theory, I'm still in the process of creating an anthology of short sci-fi stories to help show people some of the ways that a free-er and more peaceful world will look :-)
You've definitely jumped right in, which is great! Your content is consistent, well formatted, and enjoyable - you've got what it takes :-)
Here's a few platform-specific recommendations:
- Tags - there are a lot of community tags, and tags that are well known on Hive. Using those will greatly increase the reach of your content. Before posting for the first time on a given topic, you can search around for potential tags, and see which ones are being used already.
- Communities - At a deeper level, there are communities, similar to sub-reddits or FB groups. You can post into a community, and then share on your blog as well, or cross-post to other communities. Natural Medicine, OCD, Gems, Information War, and Abundance.Tribe to name a few. This is a great way to get eyes on your post when you don't have many followers, and they do all sorts of contests, prompts, etc.
- Getting out and interacting with others on the platform, commenting and getting into conversations, is going to be one of the best ways to gain followers, and get noticed.
- To that same point, I would say that cross-pollination is one of the most important factors here. In bringing people from other platforms you are on, as well as supporting people you know here (following each other, tagging each other in posts, etc)
