The best posts get a little extra!
If you like you can join me for this 'smelly challenge' too.
Just make a blog (use your own photography if you use pics - i won't resteem google pics because i give great value to #originalcontent. Ask the @pixresteemer why - he knows his original content! LOL )
Don't forget to explain why you like (or dislike) the scent that you blog about!
Use the proper hashtag: #sundayscentexperience so i can find all your posts in the same feed.
Its only on sunday!
What is this 'smelly challenge' about?
Its all about risimg your awareness to make you feel better. You belong more to life if you feel how it smells.
Focussing on your ability to smell makes you arrive in the Now, which means that you come out of your head, out of thinking processes that are mostly about your past (unchangeable) or about your future (has not happened yet so you can never think your way in how it will happen! )
Both of them are actual illusions - in the Now life happens and most of the bliss one can feel is happening here.
You activate that by using your senses - especially smelling works very direct on the way you feel.
This is because a small part of the message picked up in your nose by the olfactorial nerve is straightly delivered into your limbic system, uncensored by your thalamus and cortex.
In this limbic system are brain nods for memory and behaviour - in this place you connect in an emotional way to the imput from the world outside of you.
So #scent is directly connencting you to the way you feel.
Once you get aware of that you can improve so much and you will experience a better quality of life.
That is why i - as an aromathetapist - love to tell this to people that work in elderly care.
There is so much improvement for elderly when they are actively stimulate their capacity to smell!
Every week i add an aromatherapeutical post to the challenge that gives you info about an particular essential oil.
Like for instance these:
