Time itself is just to what extent does mass distort space time. think of space time as a line and wherever mass occurs that line is bent. which can be considered the passage or change in time. but that line can be seen as infinite time or just no value of time. as time is also relative to observation we observe it as we are affected by the curve of space time which the earth causes and also the sun. as we orbit the sun we are also within its curvature of spacetime there for it can influence the passage of time. given stuff like world lines and realities is somewhat out of what i can explain but there is theoretical dimensions which can be explained from this. we biological beings consist of mass which consist of 3 spatial dimensions such as height, width and length, but the passage of time is a bit more complex.
