2020 was very abnormal year for everyone. It was not what everyone was expecting. First we had pandemic situation and now protests all over the USA.
Founder of Signal messenger has always promoted freedom and privacy of users. The mass surveillance is putting these protests and identity of protesters at risk. Signal app has released new feature in which you can blue specific part of photo which will happen locally in your device.
I believe this could be the most desired features right now. I know not everyone is protesting in a right way because we are witnessing mass looting happening all over the states which is just selfish. You might have heard of Apple taking measure to disable its looted devices. I wonder what will happen if these large tech giants spend their resources in well being of people and not just use to protect their intellectual property only like Signal App.
