I like your observations, and would like to make a few of my own.
Your posts are very short and don't contain images or gifs. They're not being seen by many because you don't have followers to see and upvote them.
My suggestion to newbies, comment insightfully on other people's posts until you have 50 followers. If you blog with less, you're going to spend hours on a piece, only to watch it be read by 3 people.
