I have three old Morgan silver dollars. I have been wondering what to do with them. I have been holding on to them for quite a while and I was looking around and wondering what they are worth. These are a little piece of history! If they could talk the stories they could tell!
This silver dollar someone thought it would be a good idea to carve their initials into the face of it.
Sorry about the last two photos they are a little off-center. It is sort of a play on I am feeling today I guess! Anyway, I have been thinking about the price of the coins, they are not in bad shape for as old as they are. The one with the initials in it is a bust I think as that one will just be scrap silver now.
I have been online looking at the prices of these types of coins. They are anywhere from $16.00 to about $19.00 a piece. The scrap price is about $14.00 a piece. To think that in the late 1800's they were only worth one dollar! To be honest I am wondering if I should continue to hang on to them or sell them to buy Steem and build my account on Steemit. Not really sure what I will do as of yet, but it is something to think about. Any thoughts on this? Drop it in the comment section of this post!
Thanks for reading and I hope everyone has a great day/night, whatever it is in your neck of the woods! Always Forward!!!

These are really awesome pieces! As you said during PYPT, the headband is in excellent condition! Love these coins from your collection! 😃
Thanks! Right now that is my whole collection, so far! LOL
The headbands are rubbed off from wear most of the time.
Keep'em, Don't sell them. The oldest one you have was made shortly after the civil war.
I think I will. A part of history.
