An ounce of silver, what would it be worth to you?
In a scenario of WTSHTF (when the sh** hits the fan) what would you trade for an ounce of silver. With the price of silver at over $17 per oz. and an expectation of well exceeding that price in the above situation what would you expect in return.
A bushel of corn, maybe a bottle of whiskey, a pack of cigarettes, aspirin, baby food, etc.
If silver went to $1800 per oz. would you trade one of your ounces for a prolific egg laying hen if someone was willing to trade with you? Would you trade 5 gallons of fuel? How much would you trade for a dairy cow?
Would you trade for or with antibiotics? How much are you willing to give up to keep your family fed and healthy? Once the silver is gone it's gone but a hen will lay eggs for years you may get tired of eating them but it is a continuous source of protein.
Ultimately it's up to you and your trading partner but it is something to think about.

Silver is a goldmine, pun* intended!
Pun taken!!
I already have hens :)
Ya when you think about it. Food is more valuable than silver
