First a word of advice, discover the paragraph, go in and edit this post so it is readable, otherwise it will be ignored.
Silver is a store of value, like gold. During a SHTF event, you should have what you need to survive in the short term; water, medical supplies, food, guns & ammunition, secure shelter and electrical power, propane, gasoline, etc. in that order.
If you have 3 hots and a cot, you are good.
After the dust settles and things are back to normal or the new normal, Silver and Gold may have value and be useful to buy/barter for anything you need. Maybe, maybe not. A pack of toilet paper may have more value than an ounce of Silver, who knows.
My advice, is get what you need to survive, 1 week, 2 weeks, 30 days, etc. Maybe set a goal of 6 months of supplies. Once you feel you are good buy some 1oz Silver coins. If you are in the U.S. get them from the mint. People are more comfortable with their national currency, so if you're in Britain or Canada, get Silver coins from those countries, etc.
Just remember, you can't eat Gold and Silver.

Im Sorry you Cannot Read, but It is Readable. I appreciate the comment and you made many good points but its how i write and it is spellcheck Carefully (Aka Readable).
