What up steem it family, asking a question to all you investors out there.  I f someone in the street gave you $10,000 right there on the street while you was just walking home or on the way to the store and the deal was for you to invest in. What would you invest in? And how? Your strategy? Why are investing in it at this time and this type of economy?

And how much of each would you get?

I enjoy seeing the community's coin perspectives.
I would purchase 1k of each of the top 5 coins and then using the remaining 5k to speculate on great coin projects. I'm hoping to see Civic do great things with identity.

so your investments would be spread apart...nice...that's cool

is this too conservative?

Go all in on Antshares, the Chinese Ethereum, backed by the Chinese government and Microsoft.

all in the cryptos huh?

My User name say it all.

Hahahaa @bullionstackers I see I see...lmao, but what bullion you be getting brush? Rounds vs bars vs American silver eagles? What percent of?

I would buy 2000$ on Steem Currency, 2000$ on Ethereum, and would invest the rest in opening my own Gym, yes, I'm pretty sure I can do that with 6000$, at least in my country, already did the math.

hahahaaa I like that, awesome, fun idea...make your business doing what you like

Thank you, you are right it would be so awesome

Ethereum Classic

I've been getting that a lot lately

Profit sharing ICO tokens

preferably Ether token based projects which have long legs and a possibility of generating an income.. that will make them very attractive as a buy, especially when returns pay out and prove the model.

NVO

will pay out 50% of exchange fees weekly to token holders.. ICO still has a little while to run.

Monaco

altcoin VISA backed debit card will be popular and thus token price will probably go up quite quickly

Peerplay

tokens will likely rise (if the gaming takes off)

Mobile go

tokens are likely to do well but with over $50m raised and $25m reserved for marketing it could take a while for tokens to appreciate.

Then there's ETHbits

also a profit share exchange !

did I mention SIACOIN

cheap as chips private cloud storage ..undervalued tokens :) enough already

how much do you think one should invest in NVO? do you think it will succeed?

I'm not sure about numbers.. because that really comes down to how much you have to spare / versus - how many decentralised exchanges are due to come online / versus how much business they will take from Bitt/Polo/Yob/Cryptop, etc

NVO is interesting due to the fact that 50% of fees (not profits) will be paid weekly to NVOT token holders, an ETH token in the form of NVOS, another ETH token.. the payout will use a smart contract to automatically retrieve your NVOT holding which will then calculate and send the correct amount of NVOS to your (myetherwallet.com) or similar.. very nice use of smart contracts on the Ethereum chain with two custom tokens.. I think these guys are pretty smart. If they gain some traction in the market it's a good investment.

yeah dude it sounds promising, i just might risk an ETH or two on it.

Best of Luck with it. There are so many ICO's at the moment it's like walking through treacle, just finding out what they're all about

80% Gold, 20% Silver.
There is no tax on real money.

agreed...I would do the opposite 20 gold/80 silver

why so bullish on silver?

Silver can be used to make a lot of luxury items, can be traded, can be collectable, was recently approaching $50 an ounce, can be used to make a lot of different types of products like electronics, etc. The gold to silver ratio is also quite high.

That's a good question. Maybe get one ounce of gold, one ounce of platinum, one ounce of rhodium, and split the rest between silver and steem. Generic one ounce or 10 ounce silver bars.

Nice...I like that idea....you a platinum and rhodium fan?

I am. Whenever platinum is less than gold I think it is a good bet. I think rhodium is interesting due to the crazy price it was at (about $10,000) before it came crashing down.

I'd probably buy 2 BTC and some Ethereum. With any remaining cash I'd put it into other top contenders like Ripple.

50/50 BTC/ETH

I'd play with these cryptos... but definitely have some Gold and Silver Bullion.

yep I agree with you....so you have hard assets to back that up

$2,000 crypto currencies, $8,000 Silver Bullion. That's an easy one. Cheers.

I would do something like that too...that's a good one homie...I would do something like that too

I would invest 2k in steem, bitcoin, ethereum, gold, and silver, not accounting for fees and costs involved. I think I would be able to do well no matter what with that nest egg established

Nice nice I like yours...just fair across the board knowing you'll make money on any sector..good stuff

Good post - Upvoted & Following!

Haha thank silveready1...what's ur strategy?

half ethereum half silver

Oh nice? That's a good one! What silver would u buy?

Probally tubes of different coins. To me, it doesnt matter..just as long as its silver

I see where you going at, specially with just strictly coins so you can sell a little at a time

My top coins would be Bitcoin and Ethereum. Maybe throw a grand or two in Litecoin. These three will be the ones hanging around. Great post =)

I would like to get into it I just have to do a little homework on it

Thanks man appreciate your comment...all cryptos huh...great...especially the all gaining right now

2000 $ in fiat to buy btc on dip
3000 $ 2 x Antminer L3+
2000 $ ETH after it consolidate
1000 $ LTC now while its still cheap
2000 $ Espers (esp2) @novaexchange or @coinexchange
2000 $ Lykke

long term: antminer, eth, ltc, lykke (year)
medium long term: ESP, fiat (5 months)

Overall risk/Reward: medium high +

I think it's high rewarding

I'm not sure about the risk yet because o have to do some homework on it lmao hahha

Interesting...a lot of crypto mainly...great...especially when it's been going up lately

(60%) Silver 35% Gold 25% - (40%) four different cryptocurrencies .

$3500 - Silver
$2500 - Gold

$4000 - $1000 on each crypto

Nice mixture of metals and crypto metals, I think I would mostly do this as well too

SILVER ***
Food
Energy
And reading how many cool ppl said silver here i would also invest in some steem :)

SHTF type of investment....nice...forgot guns and ammo lmao hahaa

It's coming !!! The bible told me so ;)

30,30,30 in bitcoin, ether, and litecoin.. 10 percent in dogecoin and monero. 0% in shitty silver and gold that doesnt move

I agree on the cryptos, but hard assists are very important and good to have as an insurance

Half Bitcoin/Ethereum/Ripple half silver/gold

Some already said this...I think is a smart thing to do because they are all going to go up higher and higher, you got physical assets and crypto...nice fair and square across the board

1 crypto mining rig (physical crypto) and 500Oz silver.

I would do that too just to see how it goes...but most def the 500oz

My rig that cost me EUR 2.500,-- to build is currently giving me EUR 23,-- profit per day before amortisation, plus I get to keep the hardware. The rig is therefore paid for within 4 months. In what industry can you amortise your equipment within 4 months? I am sitting close to Perth and build my rigs myself, it's a headache to get the goodies required!

What is the best place to buy silver and gold?

Depends where you are. In Germany I have https://www.heubach-edelmetalle.de/ and in Australia I have http://www.perthmint.com.au/?gclid=CLDAp5rvudQCFRQFKgodDnkH0w&gclsrc=aw.ds, both have counter sales.

You can buy from JMbullion.com Great customer service!

Half silver, half crypto. The silver would likely be 1oz rounds or 10oz bars. Some would be the SBSS series as there are limited editions which sell at premiums within months.
On the crypto half if I could invest $5,000 today it would be in thirds with Dash, Ethereum Classic, and Litecoin.

3,000 BTC 3,000 ETH and 4,000 in silver split between American Eagles and 5oz bars that catch my eye. All three are bound to move higher.
Great post liked reading the comments, resteemed.

I like yours so far too...nice one

This is a very nice blog post!! Bitcoin is actually the most safest and stable, becouse there's alot of infrastructure behind it. Well just wrote a blog list of BTC's, hopefully u can check it out.
@Styxer

Fun post! Interesting feedback

yep everyone and there IDEAS...ahmmm lmao

I would invest in eth, bitcoin then some top altcoin then ICO coins :D

I think if I had that much cash available I would try to partner up and invest it in real estate. That would be a decent way to invest and produce income in my opinion...

HOWEVER!

With this crypto craze I have gone crazy, and I would probably put it all in Ethereum and Litecoin to try to capitalize on the once in a lifetime investment opportunities these cryptos are offering

I would invest in the stock market and take advantage of the melt up.
I would invest in Silver too since I think it is going to up when the market has a melt down

Currently have 90% in the market (growth and Div plays). 5% in silver and 2% in peer to peer lending and had 3% in Crypto's but sold this morning due to the price action.

Silver, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin.

I totally agree with you man....even with that premium...that liquidity is what we need when it's time to sell...right on

Why buy coins instead of bars?

Yah I get the whole you get more silver out of your dollar when it comes to generic, but I would rather have he liquidty at the end when its time to sell, and its easy to get rid out then especially with American silver eagles because of its popularity around the world
