Local Coin Shop Silver Dollar 3-26-2022

in #silvergoldstackers3 years ago

The price of Silver and its new normal Premiums are really getting up there. The Local Coin Shop's price was $34(USD). The lowest price, for a BU American Silver Eagle, was $42 vs $30 for Generic Silver Rounds. IMG_6032.jpg
But, I had to have this most common, US, 1921-D Morgan, 90%, Constitutional Silver Dollar. Over 270 million, nearly half, of all, US Morgan Silver Dollar, were melted down, in 1918, in the Pittman Act.

Thanks again for checking it out, on #silvergoldstackers, where Stackers show & share their treasures.

Nice looking toned Morgan. Yep, premiums are stupid high.

Thanks again for looking and commenting, @silverd510. Yes, I like the natural toned Silver Coins.

Gorgeous Morgan.
I get the feeling that premiums will get bigger in foreseeable future but it won't totally stop me from stacking. Who really knows how massaged the inventories of the Metals exchanges really are.

Thanks again for looking and commenting, Kerris L Ravenhill - @kerrislravenhill. Yes, the Local Coin Shop Dealer says they are paying the highest premiums ever. And Silver Eagles, Maples, etc..., are getting harder to acquire. Even Generics take weeks, even months sometimes, to receive from the wholesalers. The fair & honest, Dealer says he sees prices & premiums going even higher.

Excellent post and please if you can go over to the comment that you left on my post and please edit it to take out the fishing link from your account being hacked.

Really appreciate it and really appreciate seeing your excellent silver content again.

Please be careful in the future and completely understand some things are out of your control.

I'm not exactly sure how many comments those spammers got out with your account.

Thank you very much and hopefully you have an amazing day.

Great design of Morgan coin, you should be careful this month about high price of eagles coin . I don't know why it's increasing, it's due to Russia conflict?

That's all you picked up? One dime?? lol. Just messing with ya. They are quite nice. Guess you like them a lot to say you would buy as many as possible. Enjoy!

Thanks for looking, ricky islam - @rickyislam. I always try to support, and pick up something, when I visit the LCS, unless they are too busy or crowded.

Gotta love a mercury dime!! Timeless design

Thanks for looking and commenting, @nildighonto. Yes, Mercury/Liberty Dimes have always been one of my favorites. The early ones, are turning a century old, every year.

Love those old mercs — can never have enough of those 😎👍

Yes, old Mercury/Liberty Dimes, at junk/melt prices are a good way to stack, @nafisislam. But, last year's $1.20(USD) price was, almost, twice as good, as today's $2.30.

This surely makes a change. I have never seen a copper dime until now. It looks unique. Copper is used as a conductor of heat and electricity !

Those are both high premium rounds. So you still paid less then you would’ve anywhere else.👌
