Hi Hivers,
The ten days in Spain are over again and I am looking back at a great productive time!
I went there to replace the bitumen roof at the side of the house. The plates used are called Onduline EasyFix so that should work out well!
And in fact it did with the help of a purchased DeWalt powerdrill on batteries. Boy is that a fine machine!
Below you see:
- the new panels and the last three old panels.
- Then a detail of the end before I added a side piece.
- The bottom side with the extra stud (4.5 x 4.5)
- And the old 0 pieces waiting for the council to collect;
this free service is so great for the little village the house is in!
On Saturday 2 the Vuelta would pass 10 kilomenters of my house and I took of to the other side of the mountian in front of our house to meet the Vuelta. Vuelta is the Tour de France but than in Spain ;)
Was that all ?
No I also replaced the draintube of the washing machine and the drainpipe where the tube goes into. I used two 45 bends instead of the old 90 and everything works fine. Everyone can do this. PVC and PVC glue and a DIY shop is all you require with Youtube movies as example.
And after all work was done - I also did some stuff with cement - I cold enjoy my lemons ad oranges growing and do some swimming in the pool!
See you
Goldrooster
when life give you lemons 🤣
Nice progress. And great to see you visited the Vuelta! When is the next trip planned and what are you planning to do then?

! help
(no space) to get help on Hive.
Aha, uitdagend klusje dus! Altijd wat te doen met zo'n (tweede) huis ;)
You've been busy!!! Do you do it yourself, @goldrooster ?
Yes. But you are welcome to assist next time!
