I somewhat agree about your assessment on gold. I am under wieght in gold hence my recent acquisition was for that very need at various levels.
We can't cover every contingency as some things can vary by by country, region, locality and how local governments react to an economic crisis and it's aftermath.
At least this is somewhat of a guide, or handy framework to make our own adjustments to suit our immediate economic context.
