Afternoon everyone ….
As you are aware by now, I have a stackers silver Christmas tree. This began last year, and is a work in progress. If I remember correctly, the tree had twenty two silver rounds on it last year. I bought a few over the year and began this year with twenty seven on the tree.
With several silver Christmas rounds as gifts from my secret Santa’s and friends from the platform I have added an additional four rounds. That brings the total to thirty one rounds currently on the tree.
While this looks pretty good on the tree, my personal opinion on this is that it will take between forty and fifty rounds to get it to look completed.
So……
As I’m very known to do, I have been searching for these Christmas silver rounds on a few websites. My first search was eBay since it’s the easiest to navigate directly to them. I started looking the Monday before Christmas and specifically looking at auction listings only.
Why???
Because there was no way that these items would arrive prior to Christmas to give as a gift. Which in turn means they will not be bid on by as many if any other people. I found a few that were ending the day after Christmas and a pair that ended a couple of days later.
Instead of me missing out on them being busy with things. I put a ceiling bid in. A ceiling bid is your top amount you are willing to bid. Until someone bids higher than that amount, you win.
Well….
I won a few others, one of which I will be sharing with you right now. It’s a really vintage round, I know that it looks nearly new. But believe me, it was in the original plastic which was pretty dirty. Which is probably why I got this vintage gem for what I paid for it.
The round is an aerial scene with Santa flying high in the air on his sleigh. The inscription is a classic one. “Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight”.
Here it is…..

You wrote your name wrong “Coppertooth”
I've never been to an auction, according to what I read you add 9 more coins, the silver tree requires more coins but it's easy to deduce that you will get them.
I wish you a happy start to the week
Auctions can be fun. Thanks slow and steady wins the race…
That's such a delightful image! 😊 A classic scene with Santa on his sleigh and the timeless inscription... what a lovely way to capture the magic of Christmas. 🎄✨😊 Santa flying through the night sky with his bag of goodies, spreading joy and magic everywhere. Those are part of my childhood memories, @silverd510, and they always bring a warm and festive feeling. 🎅✨ Thanks for sharing!

It really is a very fitting image of a child’s Christmas for sure. I’m so glad it was in the original plastic which was pretty dirty. I got it for way under what it would’ve went for if it looked like this in the listing….
