He’s back….
I’ve shared a pair of bars that were poured for me by The Bear. He is a silver pouring artist.
I have never met him in person, but had tons of interaction with him years back. He was a very prominent silver pourer in the YouTube silver pouring community years back. He was also apart of the Metals Mafia which was a handful of master pourers ran by Pit Bullion.
I don’t know what exactly happened but there was a falling out between them and The Bear went on his own.
Shortly after that all of the silver pouring community left YouTube and went over to Instagram instead. While I have an Instagram account, I really don’t know how to navigate it at all and maybe have used it an hour total since I opened the account.
I was making wooden pouring molds for several of the silver pourers in the community for a few years. These are for packing delft clay into in order to make custom art pours. While I made them for several pourers, the two that I made the most pouring frames for are Skully and The Bear. Which probably is why I have the most hand poured art from these two pouring artists.
I’ve shared a pair of vault bars from The Bear. This is a very unique designed bar.

Apparently many Silver artisans left Metals Mafia. A lot of water had passed under the bridge, Pit is not the same person I remember him the last time I contacted him.
We saw him in Vegas at the coin show two years in a row. He was not very friendly to any of us. Not my problem.
It’s interesting how these communities evolve—transitioning from YouTube to Instagram must have been a big shift for everyone involved. Even though you're not very familiar with Instagram, it’s cool that you still have tangible pieces like the vault bars from The Bear, @silverd510. They must hold a lot of personal significance given your history with him and the community.
The Bear’s vault bars are intriguing! I say that they have distinct design features that set them apart from the work of other silver pourers. Perhaps there’s a particular story behind their creation. It’s inspiring to hear about the artistry and craftsmanship involved in silver pouring and your contribution to it!

I guess the bear and his partner have problems, I think being a little individualistic is better, especially in business matters.
