Look at those pour lines….

Afternoon everyone ….

I’m going to share a hand poured bar from a company that is no longer around. Unfortunately the owner passed away unexpectedly and the business closed. I believe it roughly two years now.

They produced so really nice bars in various shapes and sizes. I am a big fan of there work and have quite a few pieces from them.

Here is info on them…

Vulture Peak Mines
1130 Baltimore Ave SE, Ste A54, Bandon, Oregon, United States | Precious Metals
Vulture Peak Mines is a small company of craftsmen & women who love silver. Many of our crew are former miners and/or Veterans. We all own silver and want more....like most silver collectors. All the silver at VPM is not mass produced. We create new bars and fill orders on a daily basis and pride ourselves in fast delivery. Naturally, we think our silver bars are the best. Not cutesy or wild, just great 'Classic' silver bars and rounds. At VPM we take pride in creating the most unique hand poured, hand stamped silver bars available in today's market. Each bar is guaranteed in weight and purity and comes with our COA (Certificate of Authenticity) after it is inspected, polished. Every hand poured silver bar has it's own unique character which is what makes it so valuable and worthy of collecting.

Now the beautiful bar…

I don’t know if this is where they got their name from, but there was a Vulture Mine.
The Vulture Mine was a gold mine and settlement in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. The mine began in 1863 and became the most productive gold mine in Arizona history. From 1863 to 1942 A.D., the mine produced 340,000 ounces (9,638.8 kgs) of gold and 260,000 ounces (7,370.9 kgs) of silver. Historically, the mine attracted more than 5,000 people to the area, and is credited with founding the town of Wickenburg, Arizona. The town that served the mine was known as Vulture City.

What a beautiful bar, that is nice! I've been to the Vulture Mine before, you can take a self guided at your own risk tour of the area. The mine is sealed off and flooded, so it wouldn't have been a safe place to explore inside the shafts. There is still a lot of gold down there, but it would cost a fortune to get it legal with today's standards and deal with flooding.

Awesome silver!
