More ships….

Afternoon everyone ….

I must have been a pirate in a previous life…..

Because every time I see a ship on a coin or round, I’m immediately drawn to it and want to own it. There’s just something amazing about the old school ships and vessels. Or maybe it’s my understanding of what kind of craftsmanship it takes to make such a beautiful creation.

Either way they are awesome…

So today I bring you yet another coin that has a ship on it. It’s a Portuguese 1992 commemorative 1000 Escudis silver coin.

Now the coin….

A Caravel ship, it's about time the lowly La Pinta get some recognition and credit assuming the 1492 is referring to Columbus' first voyage. At 0.500 it's good enough for me. Portugal has minted quite a lot of coins with ships, this is just one of many.
Obrigato!

(I must have been a pirate in a previous life…..)This phrase caught my attention.
I like everything related to reincarnation, in fact I believe in it. Listening to a video it said that there is evidence, some children begin to speak in a language different from their own, it is analyzed, regressions are made and they have indeed been reincarnated, it is a fascinating subject, so possibly you were a man of the sea.
I wish you a happy day
