Afternoon everyone ….
You have now seen a barrage of items from my latest box of tricks. From graded coins, to vintage rounds an even a beautiful bar yesterday.
Well today….
I am featuring a vintage world coin for all of you. I acquired this and several other vintage world coins in a trade with a friend a few years back.
This 1888 Lima, Peru Un Sol is one of the coins that was part of the trade. The coin is in very nice shape, I’d put it at very high AU minimum. It might even be a low mint state possibly an MS62 or 63.
I’m considering getting this coin graded. I have a pile building of things I’d like to get graded. This might be one of them.
Enough already, show us the coin….

That one is worth grading, that is really nice. Those are among my favorite coins produced in South America. They are just so pretty, and that one has so much luster left, what a great coin!
I think so as well. Problem is my pile to grade keeps getting bigger…..

I love that coin... it's 1888, !LOL.
I have a 1924, 36 years after your coin, and it is 5 decimos, and not as pristine.

A good choice in coins D. My 1916 is UNC with a higher mintage.

I remember picking this up at my local coin show.
