You might have to be quick on this one….

Afternoon everyone ….

I just came across this email and thought the community would like to know about it. The newly released China Panda silver coin has just been released. Almost all of the mints have followed the car manufacturing model these days and release next years coins in the fall before the new year. I know the US Mint and now I guess the China Mint are the only ones that I have seen wait till the new year arrives.

This is a bit of information that might not be out there. Typically these coins are pretty readily available and for most of the year you can get them from dealers.

Well….

That won’t be the case this year……supposedly they are only exporting a maximum of 20% of the minted production. If this is true, then these will have a pretty good resale value quickly. Believe what you choose to, I’m not giving any advice on this. Just informing you of what the coin world is saying.

Here is the blurb from the Monument Metals website:

The 2025 30g Chinese Silver Panda is arriving soon, and it’s a stunning continuation of one of the world’s most beloved coin series. This year’s coin features a brand-new design, combining the artistry of China’s iconic panda with the exceptional quality of .999 fine silver. Available now at the best price online, this is your opportunity to add this collectible treasure to your portfolio.

The Chinese Silver Panda is known for its unique annual designs, making it a favorite for both collectors and investors. The 2025 edition showcases an intricate new image of the panda, reflecting the series’ dedication to capturing the beauty and symbolism of this cherished animal.

Only a small fraction of these coins will be making their way to the US, so grab yours while our supplies remain!

now for the coin….

The design of the panda is nice.
It looks like the fur is 3D in a way....

Sounds like China doesn't want to share many with the rest of the world anymore. It will make Pandas more expensive and harder to find for sure for those of us here in the US!
