This 1/2oz silver coin is real nice. I picked it up last year as a gift for my youngest. She loves horses but doesn't care about silver (yet) ;)
I gave her a 1oz silver round a couple of years ago and she still has it, so that's good.
Perth Mint does some high quality work and this coin is no different. I took it out of the plastic to take these pictures and it just feels, and looks, like quality. I wish I could explain it better. It's thin yet substantial and the frosted parts with the shiny parts are just real nice.
I was just looking on JM Bullion to get information about this coin and this is the fist thing they say in the coin description, in bold lettering bigger than the rest:

Nice coin, the Perth Mint does exceptional work. Apmex had a law suite years ago for cherry picking coins to send off for grading. It got settled hush hush. I honestly think they still do, that’s why they put all the coins in single sealed Apmex packs.
Ahhhhh, I figured it was something like that. That upfront statement sure read like an admission of past guilt.
So basically….fuck you if the coins are damaged or stained! Fucking JMBullion! Ever since new management a few years back they aren’t the best. I remember not minding paying the lil bit extra cause they’d always be best in biz about dealing with an issue like say a stained coin or lost shipping. But since change over a few years back they just aren’t as b4. 🪙🪙🪙

Maybe the odd coin, fresh out of the tube, is crap? Milk Spots? Scratched/dented? I remember a seeing a few friends complaining of receiving a coin with a fingerprint on it from an online dealer.

Nice. My neices and nefews couldn't give a toss about silver, or really any saving, they are quite accustomed to inflation and spending.
I did gift my oldest nefew a BTC hard wallet and he's been adding every paycheck, so that's good.
