The Rubik’s Cube was invented in 1974 by Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Ernő Rubik. With nine colored squares on each face, the Rubik’s Cube challenges puzzlers to return the scrambled squares to their original configuration. As of July 2023, the world record (video here) for solving a 3x3 cube is an amazing 3.13 seconds!
It's Sunday night as I write this and I'm over on Bullion Exchanges website doing a little window shopping and I just came across this 2oz coin.
As an 80s kid I have a huge soft spot for the Rubik's Cube. I remember in middle school signing up for an after school Rubik's Cube club where we learned how to solve the cube.

Damn, $100 more at Rapex!! Figures. I think I'm going to grab one of these to flip it. $190 looks like a great deal. I have a few bucks and I was looking for the spot silver deals but this may be a higher profit margin in the end.
This reminds me of the Simpsons donut coin I bought years ago then sold at a hefty profit. I remember at the time wanting to buy more than one but I just didn't have the cash. I 5x my money on that coin 🤑
I don't expect this one to 5x in price but if I had the funds I'd buy two. Only 3000 minted!? No way this coin ever sells for less than $200.
I just took a longer look at this coin and it's really awesome. Not only is the cube and the surrounding circle gilded in gold, the cube spins on a post and it looks like the colors are enamel and the silver is antiqued. I really like this coin.
