I picked this up at my Arizona LCS (local coin shoppe) while I was down at my folks house earlier this week.
The shop is called Precious Elements Jewelry & Coin and I've been shopping there about as long as I've been stacking, so at least 5 years. The place has changed a lot in that time too.
It's owned by a husband and wife and she was the one at the counter when I first started going. She would tell me about her husband driving around town, wheeling and dealing.
When I first started going it was mostly jewelry, probably six out of seven cases had jewelry back then. The other case had mostly silver bullion with a few graded coins and a bit of gold bullion. I got some cool stuff back then and spot price was lower too :D
I probably go down to Arizona anywhere from once to three times a year and as time passed the bullion section grew and one of the couples kids started working there. He was strictly the bullion guy when I would go in. One time he sold me a PAMP silver Bazooka Gum for way too low a price. I got back to my parents house and looked up the current market value and it was twice as much as I paid. I went back and bought the other one he had 🏆
The other day when I went in the person working there showed me these new rounds that they had minted for there new company, the Bullion Authentication Company. The shop was very busy and she was distracted so I didn't bother asking about what that meant xD I had already waited 10 minutes for my turn and by that time I was ready to leave.
I wanted to support them though, because I like their store, so I bought one of these at a way to high premium.
