Stop. She screamed with all her strength. The ever present voice with no face . All day and every day it spoke, muttering into her ear

" Jim says you are fat. He also hates how you look. There is nothing about you that he loves.”

"It's not true, he is my brother. He would never say that.”

"Do you know why you have no friends?”

"I have friends" she screamed again."they are nice and love me."

"No they don't. They stay away from you. They don't talk to you anymore. You have no friends because you make them look bad. Screaming and crying all the time."

“You did that. You make me scream. You make me say mean things ."

"But you say them darling. Deep down you are horrible. You want to say those things

She curled up into a ball, sobbing.

"Mom she is crying again." Jims voice always boomed over his. As if he was scared. The world always seemed so different with him quiet

“A Why you crying sis?”

“ he told me that you do not love me. You love me right?"

“ I don't hate you sis. Well, no more than the others I suppose". A grin spread across Jims face. Slowly his eyes turned red like lava. His teeth sharp like knives.

Her worst fears became a reality. One where she was stuck.
